First Aid Courses (2 Day First Aid at Work and 1 Day Emergency First Aid at Work)

Every year, over 13,000 individuals lose their lives in accidents that occur in routine situations. Many of these fatalities could be preventable with the presence of a trained First Aider or an appointed person to provide assistance.

Northern Bear Safety offers two first aid courses: a 2-day First Aid at Work and a 1-day Emergency First Aid at Work. Both courses can be customised to align with the specific needs of your industry.

Throughout the courses, participants will have the opportunity to practise skills related to injury control, resuscitation (using a manikin), handling shock, addressing choking incidents, and placing individuals in the recovery position. Upon completion, successful candidates will receive pass certificates valid for three years.

The 2-day First Aid at Work course equips candidates with a comprehensive understanding of first aid provisions and the ability to take control of emergency situations until professional help arrives.

The Emergency First Aid at Work – 1 Day course imparts basic first aid skills and knowledge to assist in emergency situations involving individuals who have become ill or injured.
